Candidate Forum: Hosted by Comanche County Republican Party & Grady County GOP

520 K St, Elgin, OK 73538, USAComanche County Republican Party and the Grady County GOP will co-host a forum for Republican candidates seeking the office of Oklahoma Superintendent of Public Instruction on Feb. 16, at the Elgin Public Schools Performing Arts Center, 520 K St., at 6 p.m.
The forum will be moderated by Dr. Elizabeth Pleasant and Jennifer Sanders of Lawton Public Schools.
“This is probably one of the most consequential State Superintendent races in recent Oklahoma history,” Pleasant said. “Following the resignation of former Superintendent Ryan Walters and his high-profiled tenure, Southwest Oklahoma voters have a critical opportunity to hear directly from candidates about the future direction of public education in our state.”
The forum is open to the public and is intended to give voters an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates about their priorities for Oklahoma’s public education system. You may submit questions in advance by emailing education@ comanchegop.org.
